We are excited to announce An Evening for Love and Fashion!  This is a benefit for Umbrella during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, hosted by Tara Lynn Bridal and the Domestic Violence Task Force of Northern Vermont.  This fun and community collaborative event will be held on October 19, 2013 at Lyndon State College at 7 pm. There will be a live runway auction, social and cash bar.  Willy’s Restaurant will be catering the event. VIP tickets will be sold for a pre-fashion show social hour from  5:30 – 6:30 pm including 2 drink tickets and delicious appetizers; antipasto, lamb and seafood.

The evening will include a fashion show and LIVE auction.  The auction will offer garments submitted by local individuals, businesses and organizations that reflect the designers vision of what “love” means to them.   The Fiberistas of St. Johnsbury, H.O.P.E. of Lyndonville, Olivia Vaughn Hern, and A Stitch in Time from Montpelier, The Village Sport Shop In Lyndonville, NEK Faith In Action, Child Haven International, Kingdom Child Care Connection, Edie LangdellReady Ruthie, Sam Talbot-kelly, The Sewing Studio of St. JohnsburyElizabeth’s Large Size Fashions and AccessoriesUmbrella,  and Tara Lynn’s students will be participating in the Fashion Show.  Rep. Michelle Fay, the Executive Director of Umbrella, will be there as well as other special guests!

We invite anyone interested in participating in this event to contact Tara Lynn for a submission form.  You may enter up to 3 looks and we ask that one piece be submitted for the live auction.
